Re: Surplus Spare Parts - in Australia
Do you have any parts remaining? In particular, the fuel tank. Regards, Dale - Uki, NSW

Rocker (Tappet) Covers
Further to my last Wanted:
I need left and right rocker (tappet) covers.
I need left and right rocker (tappet) covers.
Fuel Tank
I have managed to find myself a replacement Haflinger (see my previous posts). Generally good condition and nice back-story, but there is some assembly required...
To that end, does anyone have a lead on a fuel tank before I launch into fabricating a replacement?
Many thanks,
Dale

Re: tool roll
Thank you.
Re: tool roll
Good idea. When you get it completed (or even near), could you please post images and details here?

WTB: Haflinger (Australia)
After exhausting all leads, I have decided to give up the search for my old hybrid. That being said, I still have a need for such a vehicle for our rural retirement retreat. I have been looking at Kawasaki Mules and similar, but consider the Haflinger still to be superior for my purposes. That said,...

Lost Haflinger-Toyota Hybrid
Does anyone have a current phone number for Tony Skarabot in Cairns, Australia? He has lived at the same address since ever, but there is no listing for him now. He was the restorer of the one I am still chasing. I have now returned to the property and seriously need a replacement Haflinger (in Aust...

Re: Lost Haflinger-Toyota Hybrid
Hi Garry, Thanks for the detailed response. Haflingers are like Ducatis (my other passion); all enthusiasts have a number of "GunnaDo" projects in the back shed, myself included. Yes I would very much like to re-buy this particular Haflinger. It would not be of interest to Haflinger collec...

Re: Lost Haflinger-Toyota Hybrid
No. Toyota produced a Toyota Tiara in the early 1960s with a 700cc flat twin air cooled engine. Lovely piece of engineering; hydraulic tappets, automatic gearbox. My Haflinger had a full engine replacement mated up to the original gearbox with an adapter plate.

Re: Lost Haflinger-Toyota Hybrid
I am still searching. I know this is probably the wrong forum (Wanted...), but given that the history is here, I trust no one is particularly concerned. If so, I will start a new post. Thanks for reading. Dale.

Re: Lost Haflinger-Toyota Hybrid
I have had a little luck in that an old image has shown up on this site (attached). I purchased the Chocolate/Cream one from the dealer when Tony traded it in. I had it for several years and finally on a 100 acre property in Northern NSW. I rebuilt the engine back to as new. I am still interested in...

I purchased the Chocolate/Cream one from the dealer when Tony traded it in. I had it for several years and finally on a 100 acre property in Northern NSW. I rebuilt the engine back to as new. It was just a gem. I sold it in the middle of a disasterous divorce, and am now trying to track it down to r...

Re: Lost Haflinger-Toyota Hybrid
Garry, As best as I could tell, the previous mentioned hybrids are not my old one. Considering the passage of time, the give away was the ribbed floor to the rear tray. Mine was flat sheet, probably a couple of mm thick! Also the engine cover was a heavy lift-off (not hinged) unit with an air filter...
