Re: Hi Beam Light in the Speedo
When I was doing the dash for my haf I looked at rolling a piece of plate in a crescent shape 5mm at the widest point narrowing to 0 to provide a surround for the speedo, this would have the effect of tilting the speedo up to make it easier to read. I got as far as making a template but didn't bothe...

I've since been fiddling with the ignition as it would crank awhile before starting before settling with a lumpy idle and smoky exhaust. So points and timing set and it now starts on 1st crank thoug...

Re: Hemi the Haff.
Oh I like the idea of blade fuses, I did have a look about for a "period" looking blade fuse holder as I have some miniature resettable breakers that fit in the same space as a blade fuse but come up short in the time I had. Trouble is I'm a fiddler, and that dash is already the 2nd. 1st o...

Dashboard
Here is my 1st attempt at a dashboard from 3mm Stainless Steel.
I'll run with this until I'm ready to paint and I'll replace this dashboard with a dash containing the Info placards.

Hi chaps, I'm in the process of rewiring the the Haf, I've just replaced the battery cable and want to ensure the right bits are going to the correct holes.
the choke cable has a very accute bend and the fuel pipe is a section of copper pipe.
Can anyone help with what goes though what hole.?

Sloppy gear change
Morning All,
Just a quickie before I dive in on the weekend.
The gear selection on my haff is sloppy to say the least, with reverse selection a guessing game until the clutch is released are there bushes or any adjustments that can Improve matters.
Cheers

Ah ok I’ve got a white double pole single pull switch on the dash.
I’m in the process of re-doing the original wiring diagram I’ll have a look at the switches when I’m in work.
Thanks for the prompt reply

Low Oil pressure & oil leaks.!
Ok so after a messing about with Hemi driving it in and out of the garage I noticed he was dripping 🙄 so after a poke about I found there was a slight drip from the sump plate and from the rear off side drive shaft. Bought a gasket and drained the sump, oil was very dirty with the strainer needing l...
