Weber vs Zenith linkage

Hi folks! Here I am again after eight years since I restored my LWB Haflinger. Few weeks ago I started my second Haflinger project, this time one SWB ´61 first unit sold in Spain.
The problem I have is the carburettor linkage as the factory set had a Zenith carburettor and now I am going to install a Weber.
I tried to conect the throttle rod but I noticed that Weber lever travels diffrence angle and doesn´t work well. Don´t care about choke, but thorttle rod smooth running is very important for driving the car!
Has anyone made any conversion or found any adjustment..?
Thanks in advance for your help

What was wrong with the Zenith?

I am confused as I thought the Zenith was only fitted to later Haflingers and that a '61 would have had a Solex or a Weber. Are you sure your Weber is for a Haflinger? It is possible that if it was for some other vehicle that the arm is a different length and that is why you are having issues with the length of travel provided.

The other aspect is the Weber has a different inlet manifold to the Zenith.
