Yep, a trailer would be terrific to have. Come to think of it - I haven't really seen many pics of them either.

Garry,

the historic picture at the top is very interesting. The Haflingers seem to be nearly new, since neither canvas nor paintwork look faded. Could you possibly try to get a high-resolution scan of that picture? Or could you possibly send me a link or contact?

Thanks and kind regards,
Constantin

Hi Constantin,

I only picked up the pic from another forum but I have sent an email to the poster asking for the information you requested. I will get back to with what comes back.

From the style of the admin buildings in the background, the pic is taken on an aussie military base. They are left over WW2 buildings - sort of the Aussie equivalent of Nissen Huts and were quite common on military bases here up to the 80s and some probably still exist in some places.

Hi Constantin - sorry but you are out of luck - that pic I put up is going to have to be it - the original poster said he got it of some facebook site some time back and kept a copy of the pic which was a pic of a pic. He cannot recall exactly which Facebook site but thinks it may have been a RAAF related site.If he remembers or comes across it he is going to gte back to me but the above pic would seem to be it.

Sorry

I am not sure why, when I choose to upload a photo it is saying, The extension heic is not allowed. Is there a different way to upload photos

That is an odd, newer Windows format and is not commonly used as yet in forums - try converting it to a JPEG or JPG and you should be OK. Google convert heic to JPEG or JPG and you should find converters.

Your earlier pics were in JPG format - so why have you changed your format? Different camera?

What does sometimes work is just changing the file name descriptor from .heic to .jpg or .jpeg (the save as function can sometimes allow you to do this)

eg filename.heic to filename.jpg or filename.jpeg.

John (admin) may be able to set up the system to accept the heic format.
