No no no - no more Haflingers for me - though I could use a few parts off it.

Hmmm maybe I could buy it, take what I want from it and sell off what I dont want :?

No no no - too much junk at my place.

Anyway it looks like P.H. from Bega really wants it.

Went for about $5100 after fees. I didn't get to inspect it but seems a fair price given the motor is in pieces.

Well done to whomever won!

Actually I thought it might go higher - not because of the condition etc but there seemed to be three bidders who were really interested and were constantly bidding against each other.

A good start for a project but a lot of work needed.

Cheers

Other than having to rebuild the engine, the rest looks like it might only need a few things putting back on / sorting out and it would be a drivable machine !

That doesn’t mean it wiould be road worthy, but you could move it under its own power which would show up those items which need work to make it roadworthy..

Unless off course you are one of those people who would want to strip it and clean / paint / replace anything and everything to get a better than new Haflinger out of it!!! Look

Glad you managed to get that old chestnut off your chest (once again), John!

It's true! Out of all the people who are on this forum, I bet most have either a vehicle that is in pieces whilst they painstakingly rebuild it or it too pretty to take outside because it will get dirty!

Anyway, it's nice to have a drum you can bang once in a while!

You up for visiting another trials? There's another one this Sunday along the South coast.

I am guilty of that
Mine is still in pieces and I lose sleep over it
So sad, no time or I just find excuses I guess
