Never seen a spacer like that on the shift linkage rod

I wanted to do some of the euro 5 bar decking for an RV project, but it took forever to come in. Plus it's dimensionally different, so the water jet cutter and cad guy were having fits. I like it much more than our standard decking, grips better.
