If overall gearing is maintained, there is not much advantage in having the 1400cc Datsun engine at the back - still redlines at 75-80kpm.

Looks to have a different engine now - a parrallel twin - couldn't see a makers name on it though. if you compare the two posts engine bay pictures, it is definately a differnt engine. Someone on that forum has asked what engine, so waiting for the reply.
