As you will be aware our Hafingers have a wheel PCD of 98mm. Does anyone know of any way, other than spacers/adapters, that alloy 100mm PCD wheels could be made to fit a standard Haflinger Hub.
I have heard the holes can be redrilled with a filler "half moon" used to make the then elongated hole round or the holes redrilled to take alloy wheel nuts with a thicker wall to take up the extra 2mm. However I have only heard of these and never used any in practice.
Anyone heard of any other methods?
Thanks
Garry

Re: 100mm PCD Wheels
I would hazard a guess that the only real way to do it would be to have the holes welded up and then re-drilled with the correct spacing. I wouldn't like to place my faith in half moons staying in place whilst you tried to do the nuts up and unless you make a "sleeved" nut, drilling the hole bigger also runs the risk of weakening the alloy wheel where the holes are.
I just need to find some wider rims in a 13 inch 98 PCD so I can put some of these on:-

I might be able to squeeze them on to my current rims, but I think it will take a tyre fitting machine to do it.
