Re: Found on Ebay .co.uk- Haflinger thing
Curiosity: is the 1900 VW engine a replacement for a Haflinger engine, or does it share some components with the Hafi engine? No. It is easier to mate to the Hafi bell housingthan other power plants, but it's too heavy, usually sits oddly, and could damage the drivetrain with the increase in torque...

Re: WANTED: Semperit 165-12 "Universal-Grip"
Non-DOT (Department of Transportation) certified tires bound for road use are not legal to import into the USA. They used to be lenient, but since China started to flood the US market with cheap and terrible tires with questionable certification, the USA has some sort of statutory embargo on the imp...

Re: 1971 Haflinger Pathfinder restoration.
Today's temperature is 82F.. too bad I have to work today. Spring has "sprung," but in 36 hours we expect it to be 22F and snowing. As an update, I have purchased 1 correct Lucas reflector for the rear, the VW rear view mirror and base, the rectangular (clamp-on) side view mirrors, and the...

Re: NA Pathfinder central driving mirror (rear view)
Mission accomplished.
Actually is an easy part to get as a reproduction.
The mirror and base (they are separate parts) came from AirHead Parts in Ventura CA, and work great.

Re: Circuit breakers (2-3)
The red buttons are integrated into the unit. There have been a number of discussions re-amp rating on these.. None definitive. I think most are 8-10 amp.
Still need at least one..

Re: Haflinger "Pathfinder" Lucas reflector.
By the way, the Morgan +8 uses a different reflector unit. It is the one with the holes drilled on the short sides that the screw goes through. Its the SAE A69 2.2.. The Pathfinder is the A68. Over on The Real 4x4's group, "TechMOGogy" (Dan, who also owns a Pathfinder) identified the refle...

Re: Haflinger front and rear shocks?
The Monroe 31089 is a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle shock. Logic dictates that any shock built for the '68 Bug would fit.

Re: Haflinger "Pathfinder" Lucas reflector.
Nope, it isn't part of the L841. The reflectors are similar in appearance and size, but the similarities end there. The photos show the reflector, along with a damaged L841. Different mounting, different surround. Different lettering on the reflector. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Haflinger "Pathfinder" Lucas reflector.
So.. The Lucas lamps used on the Pathfinder variant were widly used across a number of British Leyland and other UK marks. OEM and reasonable equivalents are generally available in the marketplace. The parts that are giving me trouble are the 2 rectangular reflectors, mounted inboard of the rear lam...

http://www.gbcmotorsports.com/kanati-mongrel-p-216.html Mongrels maybe?.. See my link. I've seen Afterburns in person, and they have more tread then the pics show, but they really are a street tire. I've seen UTVs spin out on mildly damp trails with them. Roadkill, where did you find the wide Minili...

Ever consider setting up the forum w/ Tapatalk support?
I use it with every other forum I'm involved with. It makes things easy if you are primarily a smartphone user.
Just a thought.
