Low fuel sensor

How to repair the low fuel light sensor inside the tank ?
Are there inside a small thermistor ? What nomenclature ?

This is a good question. Have you tried shorting the wire for it to earth with the key on to see if the light illuminates?

Inside is a NTC resistor.
