Another Haffie on Shannons. Is it yours??

PS = this is the one that did not sell for $45K on ebay a few months back - see this thread
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3442
Shannons estimate of $8k to $12K is a lot less than the required $45K at the beginning of the year - certainly worth $8-$12K

Will still cost the buyer a lot more as there will be auction fees as well. I wonder what the seller thought of the valuation considering he was adamant he knew the value of his Haflinger at the beginning of the year?
Other than the fact it is obviously "not original condition" like the original advert, it does look like a reasonable vehicle to buy and use and if you are that way inclined, to strip and restore.

It'll be interesting to see what it brings.
Any idea what those brackets are for, on the front sides? The holy ones? Also looks like there's a tube there?

A little on the high side for its mods but a little work will make a nice little driver. I would not have paid that much as it presented but maybe would have after it was cleaned up.
Certainly a lot less than its initial $45K earlier this year.

It just goes to show that the market is around $15K for a working haffy and not the high prices some people expect.
